Financial Planning Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings consist of Presentations and Roundtable Discussions and are normally held in the Ruth Braman Room in the Penfield Library on 1985 Baird Road in Penfield, NY 14526 at 7:00 PM every Month from September thru May.

1. March 23, 2016 Program

"Maximizing the Transfer of Wealth to Non-Spouse Beneficiaries by Negating Tax Liabilities Through the Effective Repositioning of Existing Legacy Assets and/or Discretionary Income into Tax-Free Life Insurance" by Bill Monte. Bill was our speaker on the topics of Effective Wealth Transfer and Long-Term Care Planning at the March 25, 2015 meeting. At this meeting, he will focus of the transfer of wealth to non-spouse beneficiaries.  This topic of discussion came about with the publication of a Wall Street Journal's June 13, 2015 article penned by Jonathan Clements titled "Death and Taxes, the Sequel."
